MISN's Comprehensive Childbirth and Parenting Preparation Classes

In this childbirth education series of one to four classes, participants will learn:

Anatomy/Changes In Pregnancy
Nutrition and Weight Gain
Pain in Labor
Relaxation and Visual Imagery
Stages of Labor
Comfort Measures for Mom and Her Partner
Positions For Labor
Interventions/Pain Medications/Cesarean Birth
Postpartum Depression
Newborn Care
Breastfeeding

The classes are taught by Liz Pickett, CD, PCD(DONA), Janna Comando, CD, (DONA), Rachel Durland, ICCE, or Stephanie Sosnowski, IBCLC, ICCE, Perinatal Health Educators for Maternal Infant Services Network.
